It is amazing what pops out of the closet with a simple Facebook Group request. Facebook book folk are amazing. I've used that word twice now, but it is true. In search for info and personal accounts, I’ve been requesting information from various local-centric Facebook groups and Historic societies on Universalist Churches in their areas. The results have ben astounding—photos, deeds, stories, obscure information, and in one case, information about an early Ohio Universalist Church that even Robinson didn’t have in his History of Christian Universalism in Ohio.

So, if your roots have a Universalist thread, please take a look through your family records and photos. And if you find something please share it with Historic Christian Universalist Churches of Ohio. And even if your roots don’t have a Universalist thread, you might know of an old Christian Universalist church in your area. And if so, we’d like to hear about it. We promise that when the church page is posted, to give you credit for your contribution to the page.
And if there happens to be an extant former Universalist Church or cemetery in your neck the woods, shoot us an image of it.
