"Traffic signals are simple: "Stop!" "Go!" "Caution!" Not so with the signals along the railroad tracks. Some practices are universal, while others specific to a particular railroad. The crew needs to learn them all. All we need to do is to learn stop when the bell rings and lights flash red.
