Building on A Budget

One thing that has always been a concern to me is the cost building a layout. However, a pretty Christmas Train Garden can be built on the cheap. Most all of the construction materials are scrounged. The cotton snow is purchased by yard the from a fabric store and almost all of the houses and accessories have been found at antique malls, thrift shops, and garage sales. And you can save even more if you build your houses out of cardstock.
