The Village of Make Believe loves visitors! Historic Village Neighborhoods, Fantastic Events, Gift Shopping and so much more await you. Downtown Make Believe is wonderfully compact, making it easy to walk between shops, the depot, and City Park. And there's always the Village Trolley. Just a bit out of town is the ever-popular Snow Mountain Resort where you can ski (downhill and cross-country) and skate to your heart's content.

The Whimsicle & Northern R.R. provides frequent passenger service from the Big City to our whimsical village, many trains stop at the Snow Mountain Depot. Frequent bus service also runs between the Village and Snow Mountain.

A must stop is the Village of Make Believe museum. The museum has a great display of the Village and the W&M R.R. through the years.

Spend a night, few days, or even a week. Eat in one out delicious restaurants. Hibernate at the historic "The Pink Flamingo" along the bay, the centrally located, historic "Nickolas Hotel," or settle into one of our comfortable B&B's. There's cabins and a lodge at Snow Mountain.
