Buffalo Wings, Football & God

Sometimes it seems that the universe revolves around Buffalo wings and football. The rest of life becomes secondary. But what if life is all there is? What if the meaning and purpose of life is Life? What would happen, if rather than looking something to life meaning, we embrace the simple truth that Life itself gives meaning to life?

How would that look?

Many say that God gives meaning to life. Yet, how often we pray, “God, please let my team win!” God becomes the arbitrator of who gets the Super Bowl ring. Is that based on which side had the most or best prayers? Could it be that we humans give meaning to God? That the meaning reflects our own desires? What would it be like if rather than (our conception of) God providing life with meaning, we understood Life as the Divine Energy, the energy (verb) of Pure Love?

How would that look?
