The Everlasting Gospel by Paul Siegvolck (1700) became a powerful tool for spreading the message of universal salvation after it was translated into English by George de Benneville and published in 1753. Of particular note it was instrumental in the conversion of then-Baptist Elhanan Winchester to belief in the idea of universal restoration. The Everlasting Gospelrejected the election of only a few to salvation and the idea of eternal damnation in favor of the restoration of the soul to full harmony with God because of God’s everlasting love.

"Paul Siegvolck" was the pseudonym of German pastor Georg Klein-Nicolai. The Everlasting Gospel (Ewiges Evangelium) was first published in Magdeburg, Germany, in 1700.
